Description of Services Provided

An 8-day virtual training programme aimed at strengthening the procurement capacities of the leaders of the ECOWAS Bank for Investment and Development (EBID).

Specific Objectives

• Develop a detailed understanding of procurement according to the World Bank’s guidelines.

• Master the new procurement framework adopted by the World Bank in 2016 and become familiar with its new directions.

• Understand the activities, procedures, standards, and principles underlying the procurement of works, goods, and consultancy services.

• Define and plan all activities within the framework of a request for proposals and an invitation to bid.
