Leading Beyond Reasoning – How Full-Body Intuition Transforms Decision-Making

Together, we explored how effective decision-making goes beyond analytical thinking by integrating intuition, physical awareness, emotional intelligence and presence. Through practical embodiment exercises, participants discovered how adopting different physical and psychological stances can influence the way we perceive complex situations and make strategic decisions.

A highlight of the session was the live visual sensing by artist Oksana Kandabura and SETYM’s Business Development Coordinator, Radia El Hallam, who translated the evolving discussion into powerful works of art. These visual interpretations prompted rich conversations, revealing how a single image can generate multiple perspectives and deepen our understanding of leadership, collaboration and complexity. Participants reflected on themes such as maintaining focus throughout a project’s journey, navigating uncertainty, staying connected to purpose, and recognising the many human dynamics that shape decision-making.

The webinar also demonstrated how artificial intelligence can complement intuitive thinking. Thanks to Iryna Baturevych’s AI analysis, participants discussed how leaders can use AI to explore situations from new emotional and strategic perspectives, expanding reflection beyond conventional frameworks.

The discussions concluded with thoughtful participant reflections, emphasising the importance of remaining calm, open to new ideas, and receptive to the contributions of others when leading through complexity.

Thank you to our consultant, Mark Hollingworth, Oksana Kandabura and Iryna Baturevych for their precious support, and everyone who contributed their insights to make this a truly enriching learning experience.

We look forward to welcoming you to one of our upcoming leadership and management training programmes.
