Preparation for the MSPM accreditation and TAMP certification

Description of services provided

As part of the capacity building of public procurement stakeholders and the long-term sustainability of the procurement training programme in Guinea-Bissau, an online training course on public procurement was held, followed by two two-week accreditations in Bissau.

Nine participants completed the Manager Specialist in Public Procurement (MSPM) accreditation, and fifteen obtained the Public Procurement Support Technician (TAAP) accreditation.

Specific objectives

MSPM Accreditation

  • Review all key concepts, approaches, tools, techniques, and best practices essential to public procurement and its effective implementation.

  • Prepare for the examination in order to maximise the chances of success.

  • Develop good reflexes for answering multiple-choice questions.

  • Practise for this specific type of examination and learn how to manage the allotted time efficiently.

TAMP Certification

  • Provide participants with foundational knowledge of public procurement and introduce them to key regulations and procedures.

  • Understand the activities, standards, and principles underlying procurement of goods and works, as well as the selection of consultants.

  • Enable learners to take on the role of public procurement technician and begin a career in the field.
