I had the opportunity to attend a SETYM training in Montréal focused on strengthening public procurement skills, notably for MSPM accreditation. The training organised by SETYM International in France was remarkable in many respects. The well-equipped facilities provided an ideal learning environment, while the relevant course content allowed me to acquire new skills. The trainer, Maître Lewis NSALOU, proved to be a passionate and skilled expert, making the topics easy to grasp through his interactive approach. The practical case studies were particularly appreciated for their real-world application of the concepts. Lastly, the logistical arrangements managed by Mrs Ingrid Martin helped make my stay unforgettable, especially with the guided tour that was offered.

SETYM, as a capacity-building institution, has enabled me to assess and enhance my knowledge and experience in public procurement, in my role as Budget and Control Officer at the PNMLS, where payment documents are processed for approval in order to avoid errors observed in the procedure.

It was rich in reminders of public procurement concepts, exchanges of ideas and best practices, and sharing experiences, allowing us to acquire new knowledge.
